It all started back in 1955 in a small garage on Creighton Avenue in Fort Wayne. Fred Richards had a vision of beautifying home exteriors and his commitment to quality workmanship has continued through three generations. His son, Mike Richards, joined him shortly after college to help with the family business. He quickly learned to take his time and that if you do it right the first time, you don’t have to do it again. Grandpa Fred and Mike made Hoosier Windows what it is today by always focusing on quality and workmanship that lasts.

Mike Richards went on to teach his son, Andy Richards, and his son in law, Andy Birch, everything there is to know about installation. We are one of the only home improvement companies in the area that come from the installation side of the business. We know that what we are installing is done the right way. Over the decades, we have seen the products evolve from wood to aluminum to a vinyl product that will last a lifetime. Grandpa Fred and Mike taught us about quality, commitment, and performance and those are three words we stand by today. We strive everyday to preserve that legacy.
